Onions

.

“Life

is like

an onion:

you peel

it off

one layer

at a time,

and sometimes

you weep”

.

~ Carl Sandburg

.

Good days, bad days, one day at a time.

A sorrow shared is a sorrow that is reduced by half,

a joy shared is a joy multiplied by the hundreds.

Today, share the cry, share the laugh

and move on to the next layer.

Today, don’t take a bite out of the ground apple,

peel it slowly and use it to enhance the flavors of your life.

Life is like peeling an onion.

Life is living and loving in the here and now.
